Extruded PTFE

Extruded PTFE provides an inexpensive method to produce parts with a minimal amount of waste.

Rather than gaskets cut from PTFE sheet gasket material, gaskets can be cut using tube stock. Specify your ID and OD dimensions and order accrodingly.

Of course we can late cut your PTFE gaskets for you using this technique to keep your costs down. It does however cause the gaskets to bow (depending on the thickness) until they are installed.

Different applications require different materials. PTFE can be filled with metals (copper, brass, bronze, etc), Silica, Barium Sulfate, Carbon, Graphite are the most common.
